Air passenger number reaches record high
Last month was the best June ever in terms of the number of passengers passing through Vágar Airport

Vágar Airport has well and truly shaken off the Covid blues.
The 45,754 passengers passing through the airport last month represent a 7-percent increase on the June 2019 figure of 42,743.
In June 2021, the number was 17,906, and in June 2020, it was a mere 9,945.
