If your children are not wearing a seat belt, you may risk penalty points on your driving licence.
Police have launched a traffic safety campaign on roads near schools across the country.
They are also on the lookout for children who wear their school bag on their back while sitting in the car, which is unsafe.
This specific campaign will continue for the next two weeks, but police are keeping an eye on school traffic all year.
