Six new home sites in Saksun

Work will soon start on six 450-500 square-metre plots in the picturesque village of Saksun.

Heðin Zachariasen, the mayor of Sunda Municipality, says that the decision was made after the council received a number of building applications for residential homes in the village.

The DKK 450,000 budgeted for the project this year will be spent on road construction and buying land.

The development work will be put out for tender in the coming days once all formal authorisation is in place.
