The law concerning fishing days for next year has now come into effect.
According to the new law, the quota system, which was originally planned to come into effect 1 January 2018 but was postponed at the time, has now been shelved until 1 January 2020.
The number of fishing days in 2019 will be the same as in 2018.
Parliament approved the new law before Christmas.
