Watch the World Cup on Kringvarp Føroya

As one of the few broadcasters in the world, Kringvarp Føroya has the rights to broadcast every single game in the World Cup.

KVF has signed a special agreement with two major Danish broadcasters, which enables KVF to broadcast every World Cup game, says Kringvarp Føroya’s head of programming, Barbara Samuelsen.

It is, however, not easy to fit all the matches into the regular TV schedule.

“We need to think carefully about which games we can broadcast live, and which ones will be aired at a later time,” says Samuelsen.

She adds that priority will be given to the games involving the Nordic teams, and that the footage will only be available to viewers in the Faroe Islands. See the programming schedule here.
