University admissions announced

The University of the Faroe Islands received a total of 411 applications for next term.

Out of the 298 people offered admission, 35 applied to study teaching, 35 pedagogy and 30 nursing.

The successful applicants must accept their places by 1 August. If they do not accept, the places will be offered to applicants on stand-by.

Of the 411 applicants, 332 applied to study bachelor courses, 73 applied for master courses and six applied to study subsidiary subjects.
