Atlantic Airways to build new hangar

The national airline’s existing hangar at Vágar Airport is too small for the latest additions to its fleet, and it will soon be replaced by a bigger one.

Jóhanna á Bergi, CEO of Atlantic Airways, has confirmed to Kringvarp Føroya that the old hangar will be torn down to make way for a new one.

Atlantic Airways owns the existing hangar, and it is believed that the airline will also build, own and manage the new one.
