A woman, who yesterday noticed a house on fire in Klaksvík, responded quickly and got the three people inside to safety before she called the police and reported the fire.
Police received the call at 8:04 am, and 12 minutes later the situation was under control.
The fire was put out at 8:33 am. Thanks to the quick work by the fire crew, the house only received minor damage.
A fire protection technician is currently investigating the incident.
