Virus scare is over for now

Two Faroese citizens were quarantined yesterday on suspicion of having contracted the dreaded coronavirus.
Tests were sent to Denmark for analysis, and the Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority also did its own preliminary tests.
Yesterday evening, the results of the Faroese test came in, showing that neither of the two persons had been infected.
Shahin Gaini, specialist in infectious diseases, says that although the Faroese tests are not conclusive, it is unlikely that the two people have contracted the virus, partly because they have been travelling in countries that are regarded as low-risk in coronavirus terms.
Update 3.15 pm: The Danish test also came out negative, and it is now considered certain that the two Faroese citizens have not contracted the coronavirus.
