A week with no new Covid cases

A full week has now passed since the last domestic Covid-19 case was registered, reports corona.fo.

There are currently 50 active Covid cases in the country, including 27 sailors on board Russian trawler Yantarnyy, docking at the Port of Kollafjørður, and two Slovakian footballers, who are quarantined in Klaksvík.

This means that the number of active domestic Covid cases has come down to 21.

Two people are currently undergoing Covid-19 treatment at the National Hospital. None are in intensive care.
