One new Covid case in the past two days
One person tested positive on Wednesday and nobody yesterday.
The daily number of positive Covid tests over the past week has been as follows: 1, 1, 1, 0, 1. 1 and 0.
No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 112 people are listed as being in quarantine.
Location, age and gender
Twenty people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 14 days. According to the latest figures on corona.fo, updated today, Suðurstreymoy has the highest total number of cases registered in the past 14 days, with 16, followed by Eysturoy (3) and Vágar (1).
The 20-29 age group dominates the statistics since 1 August, with 60 cases registered. Next on the list are the 40-49s and the 50-59s (30 in each group), followed by the 10s-19s (29), the 30-39s (23), the 0-9s (16), the 70-79s (15), the 60-69s (12) and the 80+ age group (1).
According to the latest figures from today, the gender split among those infected is 51 percent men and 49 percent women.
