Handball games postponed due to Covid situation
There will be no home game against the Czech Republic in Tórshavn on 7 November as originally scheduled.
Both of the EHF EURO 2020 qualifiers against the Czechs, scheduled for 4 and 7 November, have been postponed, reports the Faroese Handball Federation.
The reason is the recent spike in Covid-19 cases across Europe.

The Czech Handball Association has announced that the country’s health authorities have banned mass events such as sports games.
The Czech domestic handball league has been put on hold and players are not allowed to train.
This has prompted the European Handball Federation (EHF) to postpone the games between the Faroes and the Czech Republic along with other EURO 2020 qualifying games.
