Lots of cruise ships expected this year

Fifty foreign cruise ships have announced plans to arrive at the Port of Tórshavn this spring or summer.

“MS Hamburg” (pictured above) is the first one, scheduled to arrive in Tórshavn on 9 May.

The last one is the Norway-based “MS Spitsbergen”, due to arrive on 4 October.

Another 48 cruise liners are scheduled to arrive in Tórshavn between these two dates.

The Port of Runavík is expecting 16 passenger liners this year.

Klaksvík has so far registered four cruise ships intending to visit the city this year.
