Three Faroese citizens on Russian sanctions list

Three unidentified Faroese individuals have been banned from entering Russian territory.

The Russian government announced yesterday that 16 Norwegian, nine Icelandic, three Greenlandic and three Faroese citizens have been sanctioned as a result of these countries’ decision to approve EU trade sanctions against the Russian Federation.

None of these individuals have been identified, and it is believed that they can only discover their sanction status by applying for a travel visa to Russia.
