Shady social media seller vanishes after cashing in

The police are on the lookout for a Faroese man who has been pocketing payments for nonexistent goods.

He has been selling fishing licences, boat engines and groceries, often racking up thousands of krónur per sale.

The man has been identified but he has now escaped to Denmark, where authorities are working to locate him.
