Daycare restrictions lifted

Children in daycare will again be allowed to play without the restrictions that were introduced when Covid-19 returned last month.

From tomorrow, children and staff will no longer be restricted to isolated units within their daycare centre.

Hygiene guidelines will, however, still apply, meaning that staff and children are required to wash their hands when they enter the building and also regularly through the day.

Daycares have been instructed to make hand sanitisers available for everyone and to ensure general cleanliness inside the premises at all times.
