Police warn of slippery roads

Police are urging caution in the morning traffic as roads across the country may be slippery.

Two traffic accidents have been reported so far this morning. The first one, which police say was caused by a slippery surface, took place on the Oyggjarvegurin road between Tórshavn and Kollfjarðardalur in Streymoy.

The other accident occurred near the við Streymin bridge that connects Streymoy and Eysturoy.

It is not yet clear whether this was caused by a slippery road.

Police do not know if those involved in the accidents were hurt.
