Six new Covid cases

Yesterday’s 864 Covid tests yielded six positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

Five are linked to a known chain of infection and one tested positive in a follow-up test six days after arrival in the country. All have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 5, 7, 1, 3, 6, 5 and 6.

Two people are currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and 153 are listed as being in quarantine.
