Six new Covid cases

Six new Covid-19 cases were registered yesterday. All six are linked to a known chain of infection, reports corona.fo.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 2, 3, 16, 2, 3, 4 and 6.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and more than 300 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 20,450 people (38.4 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 10,269 (19.3 percent) have received the second shot.
