Wholemeal pita bread recalled
A batch of potentially mouldy pita bread products has been taken off store shelves

Those planning to serve wholemeal pita bread over the holiday season would be well advised to check the product.
According to Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority HFS, chances are that the pita breads are mouldy, rendering them unsuitable for consumption.
The products in question are Änglamark Jumbo Fuldkornspita, expiration date 09.02.2022 and EAN barcode 7340191103238, which have now been recalled from Faroese grocery stores.
People who have purchased these products are asked to either return them to the store where they bought them or throw them away.
