Tourism association pushes for scooter return
Solutions, not restrictions, are the way forward, says association

The tourism association opposes the planned ban on electric scooters in traffic zones, advocating instead for legalised rental scooter use.

To enhance safety for scooter riders and cyclists, the association proposes creating bicycle lanes and making helmets mandatory for all scooter users.

The association’s further recommendations for scooter use include: minimum age 15, one rider per scooter, mandatory front and rear lights, DKK 1,500 helmet fines and third-party insurance for renters.
