A 29-year-old man was yesterday detained for four weeks on suspicion of stabbing another man in the throat.
According to the police, the incident occurred in Tórshavn shortly after 6 am on Sunday.
The victim, aged in his fifties, is currently being treated at the National Hospital in Tórshavn.
