Faroes seek WorldSkills Europe membership

Education minister Hanna Jensen has applied for Faroese membership of WorldSkills Europe.

WorldSkills Europe aims to raise awareness of high-quality craftsmanship. The organisation provides a platform for sharing ideas and best practices and provides lessons and inspiration for developing vocational skills and training systems. 

WorldSkills Europe arranges competitions, events and meeting, while at the same time encouraging networking and establishing connections.

The Federation of Faroese Industries will represent the Faroes in the organisation if the application is successful.
