Oil use goes up due to dry summer
An unusually mild summer has hampered sustainable energy production

23.08.2019 - 07:02

National energy supplier SEV is expecting to use 25 percent more oil this year than in 2018.

This is due to the mild weather in the past months, which has slowed down the production of sustainable energy. In April this year,

SEV used 31 percent more oil than in April 2018. In May, oil use was 30 percent higher than the previous May, and in July it was 22 percent higher than in July 2018.
