Budget proposal presented tomorrow

The presentation deadline for the national budget proposal for next year is 1 October.

It has been decided that instead of waiting until Monday, the proposal will be presented tomorrow morning at 10.

This is the last budget to be passed before the next general election, which is to be held no later than 1 September 2019.

The first hearing will be on Wednesday. The proposal must be passed by the end of the year, as the budget takes effect on 1 January 2019.
