Temporary ferry shuffle due to leak

A leak was detected on Ternan on Tuesday night, and it has now been docked for repairs.

Ternan has temporarily been replaced on the Tórshavn-Nólsoy route by Spógvin, which carries up to 25 passengers.

Spógvin, which normally serves the Streymoy-Hestur route, has been replaced by Teistin as part of its Streymoy-Sandoy route.

Teistin’s 2:30pm and 7:10pm departures from Gamlarætt, Streymoy, to Hestur are available on request only.

National transport company Strandfaraskip Landsins cannot specify a date when Ternan will return for service.
