More than 400 metres have been drilled on the Sandoy side of the tunnel

Drilling for the Sandoy subsea tunnel has reached more than 400 metres since the project started on 27 June.
Most of the work has been taking place on the Sandoy side of the tunnel, but on 14 August, drilling started on the Streymoy side.
The tunnel, which will be 10,785 metres long, is expected to be finished in December 2013.
