Tórshavn City Council has voted to cut the number of new flats in the undir Kongavarða in Argir in half, from 96 to 48.
The construction firm contracted to build the flats will be allocated 6,700 square metres of land in the Millum Horna district, near Norðasta Horn, in compensation for the 3,800 square metres in the undir Kongavarða district.
This land will be used for building the 48 flats which have been cut out of the undir Kongavarða contract.
