Hospital patients released

There are currently no corona patients in hospital after the two who were receiving treatment at Tórshavn’s National Hospital have been discharged.

After 2,859 corona tests, the total number of positive tests has now reached 140 as eight new cases were announced this morning.

The total number of recoveries has now reached 47. Subtracting this number from the 140 total brings number of active corona cases to 93.

The daily number of new corona cases in the past week (from last Thursday to this morning) has been as follows: 14, 8, 12, 15, 3, 4, 10 and 8.

The official number of people currently in quarantine is 556.
