Klaksvík’s new school is ready

The new school in Klaksvík is now ready after a few months’ delay due to the corona lockdown.

Members of the public can attend the bishop’s inauguration of the school on Saturday, which is followed by a tour of the new premises. However, preregistration is required due to the 100-people maximum limit set by the public health authorities.

With project costs of DKK 110 million for the first construction stage, this is Klaksvík Town Council’s largest ever single construction project.

Those who will not be able to attend the opening ceremony and the tour of the new school can watch a live stream of the proceedings on the Klaksvík Town Council website.
