Retirement homes reopen to visitors
Elderly people in care homes are again able to receive visits

19.08.2020 - 14:20
Retirement homes today reopened their doors to visitors as the Covid-19 infection rates now appear to be under control.
However, certain restrictions apply. In the first week, only two relatives are allowed to visit each resident.
From next week, up to six people will be allowed to visit each unit of a retirement home, provided that the infection rate goes down even further.
Corona.fo reports that the health authorities are asking those planning to visit their elderly relatives to get tested regularly, including before their first visit.
