Social services reopening next week

The social service restrictions implemented on 14 August to protect vulnerable citizens amid the second wave of Covid-19 will be withdrawn on Monday.
No social services staff or users are now registered as infected, and only four staff members are quarantined, reports corona.fo.
As most staff are willing and able to return to work, a decision has been made to reopen the entire social service system.
Safety measures
This means that all sheltered workshops, leisure activities and respite care amenities within the social services will be open from Monday onwards. The same applies to the rehabilitation and medical equipment service.
Despite the full-scale reopening, no mass events will be taking place until further notice, and great attention will be placed on social distancing and hygiene throughout the social services.
Special measures will be made to provide the highest degree of protection for vulnerable citizens.
