All adults eligible for vaccines “within days”

It is looking increasingly likely that the initial plan to complete the Covid-19 vaccination programme by late June will work.

This renewed optimism comes after health minister Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen today announced that 10,400 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in the country over the next two weeks.

“We are planning to open up registration for the final group – the 16-64 age group – in the coming days,” he said.

“We are expecting to receive 5,200 doses on Wednesday and a further 5,200 two weeks later.”
