Five new Covid cases

Yesterday’s 1,332 Covid tests yielded five positive outcomes. All five are linked to a known chain of infection, reports corona.fo.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 506 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 3, 16, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 5.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 20,679 people (38.9 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 11,761 (22.1 percent) have received the second shot.
