Two new Covid cases
There are currently 49 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Yesterday’s round of 1,794 Covid tests yielded two positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

One is linked to a known chain of infection, while the other’s source of infection is yet to be identified.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 6, 0, 3, 2, 8, 8 and 2.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 235 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated this morning, 21,408 people (40.2 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 13,144 (24.7 percent) have received the second shot.
