Yesterday’s round of 1,013 Covid tests yielded two positive outcomes.

Both are linked to a known chain of infection.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 8, 8, 2, 1, 3, 5 and 2.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 238 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 23,867 people (44.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 14,375 (27 percent) have received the second shot.

Extended testing schedule in Tórshavn

The Hospital Service is extending its testing hours at Tórshavn’s ferry terminal. Testing schedules in Klaksvík and Suðuroy are unchanged.

The revised schedule at Tórshavn ferry terminal is as follows:

Mondays: 5pm-6pm

Tuesdays: 8pm-9pm

Wednesdays: 10am-11am (12noon)

Thursdays: 5pm-6pm (7pm)

Fridays: 7.30pm-8.30pm

Saturdays: 4.30pm-5.30pm

Sundays: 2pm-4pm.
