Two new Covid cases

Two positive results came out of yesterday’s 1,254 Covid tests. One tested positive on arrival from abroad and the other in a follow-up test four days after arrival, reports corona.fo.

No positive tests were registered on Tuesday.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0 and 2.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 11 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 36,181 people (67.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 33,541 (62.8 percent) have received the second shot.

Plenty of vaccine doses are available to everyone aged 12 and over.
