One new Covid case

One person tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo. The person is linked to a known chain of infection.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0 and 1.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 17 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 36,739 people (68.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 34,576 (64.8 percent) have received the second shot.
