Five new Covid cases
There are currently 34 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Five people tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo.

All five were infected domestically. Three are linked to known chains of infection, while the infection source of the other two has not yet been established.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 2, 5, 3, 0, 2, 4 and 5.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 252 people are officially listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 37,477 people (69.9 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,502 (66.3 percent) have received the second shot.
