Ten new Covid cases
Seven people tested positive yesterday and three on Sunday

Of the ten new Covid cases registered over the past two days, seven are linked to known chains of infection, reports corona.fo.

One person tested positive in a follow-up test five days after arrival from abroad. The infection source of two people remains unidentified.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 5, 4, 3, 6, 8, 3 and 7.

There are currently 43 active Covid cases in the country. One person is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 155 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 37,658 people (70.3 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,746 (66.7 percent) have received the second shot.

Plenty of vaccine doses are available to everyone aged 12 and over.
