Twelve new Covid cases
Twelve people tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo.
All are infected domestically and all but one are linked to known chains of infection.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 6, 8, 3, 7, 1, 8 and 12.
There are currently 57 active Covid cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 205 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 37,886 people (70.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,986 (67.2 percent) have received the second shot.

Drop-in vaccinations in Tórshavn
A drop-in vaccination clinic will open in Tórshavn’s SMS shopping centre tomorrow, and plans are to open another at the Glasir college next week.
This is done in an attempt to boost vaccine participation, particularly in the 20-40 age group, according to the Hospital Service.
