Seventeen new Covid cases
There are currently 69 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Yesterday’s 1,205 Covid tests yielded 17 positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

Sixteen are linked to known chains of infection, and one tested positive in a follow-up test four days after arrival from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 8, 3, 7, 1, 8, 12 and 17.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 240 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 37,886 people (70.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,986 (67.2 percent) have received the second shot.
