Eighty-four new Covid cases

Yesterday’s 3,810 Covid tests resulted in 84 positive cases, reports corona.fo.
All infected persons have been notified by the health authorities, and extensive contact tracing is underway.
As in the past few days, most of yesterday's positive tests were registered in Klaksvík, says the chief medical officer.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 38, 89, 78, 99, 65, 68 and 84.

Five people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 645 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.
According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 39,358 people (73.6 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 37,671 (70.4 percent) have received the second shot.
