Vaccines soon available in pharmacies

Following a request from the Hospital Service, Covid vaccinations will be transferred to the country’s pharmacies.
The first pharmacy vaccinations will be taking place in Klaksvík after Christmas.
Pharmacies will not be vaccinating young children, says chief pharmacist Hjalti Gunnarstein. The plan is to move child vaccinations to GPs.

Vaccinations at the hospitals in Tórshavn and Suðuroy will continue until further notice
