Video: refugees arrive in Suðuroy

Nine refugees from Ukraine arrived in the Faroes yesterday.
Seven went to Tvøroyri, Suðuroy, and two went to stay with acquaintances in Tórshavn.
Those arriving in Tvøroyri are being attended to by locals who do everything they can to make sure their needs are being met.
“We first made sure we provided them with all the essentials – housing, food, clothes, etc.,” Mortan Vang, who together with MP Johan Dahl initiated Tvøroyri’s refugee efforts, said yesterday.
