Boxing champ defends title
Half-Faroese boxer Sarah Mahfoud yesterday retained her IBF belt

Sarah Mahfoud, whose mother is from Vestmanna, won the International Boxing Federation (IBF) featherweight title in 2020.
She has since been unable to defend her title due to a string of Covid-related cancellations.
Until last night.
Boxing for Denmark, Mahfoud retained her title with a unanimous decision over her German challenger Nina Meinke.
Mahfoud remains undefeated after 11 professional bouts.
