Events disrupted by bad weather
The boatrace at the Sundalagsstevnan in Hvalvík has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
The children’s race will start at 1pm, and the starting shot for the adults will be fired at 3.15pm.
Street culture event moves indoors
The ‘Da sjúka’ street culture event was supposed to take place in Tórsgøta in Tórshavn’s city centre today.
However, the organisers say the event was meant to be held in dry weather and have instead moved their activities into a building in the Bacalao area (by the city’s shipyard).
Horse riding postponed
The annual horse-riding tournament at Leynavatn, scheduled to start today at 3pm, has been postponed until tomorrow at 3pm.
”The beach is too flooded today, but we hope it will be possible to race on the sand by tomorrow afternoon,” says a spokesperson from the Faroese horse riding association.
