Almannaverkið has so far handed out DKK 3.87 million in inflation relief

The social services (Almannaverkið) had received 775 applications for inflation relief, also known as oil subsidies, when the deadline passed on 1 December.
Exactly half of the applicants, 387, have so far been granted subsidies, 310 were rejected as they did not meet the requirements and the remaining 78 applications are still being processed.

The 387 successful applicants have been paid a total of DKK 3.87 million.
When the proposal was presented in October, it was estimated that 250-300 households would be eligible to apply for the oil subsidies, which are not taxable.
