Three new Covid cases over the weekend
Two new Covid cases were registered on Saturday and one yesterday, reports corona.fo.
The two positive tests from Saturday are linked to a known chain of infection, while the source of infection for yesterday’s case has yet to be identified. It has, however, been established that the person was infected in the Faroes.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 3, 2, 8, 8, 2 and 1.
No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 210 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 21,883 people (41.1 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 13,654 (25.7 percent) have received the second shot.
