Three new Covid cases
There are currently 37 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Yesterday’s round of 1,202 Covid tests yielded three positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

Two of these are linked to a known chain of infection, while the other person’s source of infection for has yet to be identified.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 3, 2, 8, 8, 2, 1 and 3.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 275 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 22,511 people (42.3 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 13,931 (26.2 percent) have received the second shot.

Extended testing schedule in Tórshavn

The Hospital Service is extending its testing hours at Tórshavn’s ferry terminal. The schedules in Klaksvík and Suðuroy are unchanged.

The revised schedule at Tórshavn's ferry terminal is as follows:

Mondays: 5pm-6pm

Tuesdays: 8pm-9pm

Wednesdays: 10am-11am (12noon)

Thursdays: 5pm-6pm (7pm)

Fridays: 7.30pm-8.30pm

Saturdays: 4.30pm-5.30pm

Sundays: 2pm-4pm.
